Dryer Vent Cleaning

Lint removal and airflow restoration to help your dryer work more efficiently and reduce an avoidable fire hazard.

Efficiency + safety

Why dryer vent cleaning matters.

Lint removed during a real dryer vent cleaning

Every load sends lint and moisture through the dryer exhaust system. The lint screen catches a lot of it, but not all of it. Over time, lint and debris can collect inside the vent line and restrict the amount of air the dryer can move.

When airflow drops, the dryer may have to run longer to remove the same amount of moisture from clothing. That can mean longer drying times, reduced efficiency, additional energy use and more operating time on the dryer itself.

Better airflow

Removing accumulated lint helps restore the exhaust path so hot, moist air can leave the dryer more freely.

Improved efficiency

A dryer that can move air properly may dry loads more effectively instead of running extra cycles because of a restricted vent.

Fire-risk reduction

Dryer lint is combustible. Allowing large amounts of lint to accumulate in a hot exhaust system creates an unnecessary fire hazard.

Signs the vent may need attention

Clothes are taking noticeably longer to dry
The dryer or laundry area feels hotter than it used to
Airflow at the outside termination seems weak
It has been a long time since the full vent run was cleaned
